Parda is an entertainment discovery and catalog application that aggregates publicly uploaded Pakistani drama serials across major television networks (such as HUM TV, ARY Digital, GEO Entertainment, Green Entertainment, and Express Entertainment).

A. User Account & Local Preferences

• Account Credentials: When you register an account, we collect your full name, email address, and an encrypted hash of your password.
• User Preferences & State: We store your saved watchlist shows, favorite dramas, and last-watched episode timestamps ("Continue Watching") to synchronize your viewing experience across sessions.
• On-Device Genre Taste Profile: We store local genre interest scores on your device (via local storage) to personalize your "Recommended For You" home screen feed. You can clear or edit these anytime in your profile settings.

B. Automatically Collected Technical Data

• Device & Diagnostic Identifiers: We collect device hardware model, operating system version, app version (e.g. 1.2.0), IP address, and push notification tokens (Expo/Firebase Push Token) to send episode release alerts.
• Search Queries: Search terms typed into the search bar are logged anonymously to analyze catalog demand and missing drama requests.
• App Performance & Crash Logs: Technical error logs and performance metrics are processed to maintain system stability.

3. YouTube API Services Compliance

Parda utilizes YouTube API Services to fetch video metadata, channel details, and render embedded video playback using YouTube's official iFrame Player SDK.

• By using Parda, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
• Please refer to the Google Privacy Policy for details on how Google processes YouTube user data.
• Parda does not store YouTube video files locally or bypass YouTube advertisement systems.

4. Third-Party SDKs & Services

Parda integrates trusted third-party SDKs strictly for core operations:

• Google Play Services: Required for application distribution, licensing, and security verification.
• Expo / Firebase Cloud Messaging: Used to deliver push notifications when a new episode drops.
• Cloudinary: Used for secure image optimization and delivery of drama posters.

5. How We Use Your Information

Your information is processed strictly for the following purposes:

1. To manage your account registration and authentication.
2. To synchronize your drama watchlist and Continue Watching playback position across devices.
3. To dispatch push notification alerts for new episode releases on followed dramas.
4. To maintain application security, prevent unauthorized API abuse, and fix runtime errors.

6. Data Sharing & Zero Sale Policy

We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data or email address to third-party ad networks or data brokers under any circumstances. We may disclose data only if required by law or to protect legal rights against fraudulent activities.

7. Account Deletion & Data Rights (Google Play Policy)

In compliance with Google Play Store User Data policies, users have the right to access, rectify, or permanently delete their account and associated data at any time.

• In-App Deletion: Go to Settings → Profile → Delete Account inside the Parda Android App.
• Web-Based Deletion Request: Visit our dedicated Account & Data Deletion Page.
• Email Request: Email our Data Protection Team at azcodez9@gmail.com with your registered email address. All user data, watch history, and account records will be permanently purged within 48 hours.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Parda is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately, and we will take steps to remove such information.

9. Security Standards

We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical security measures (including TLS/SSL encryption for data in transit and salted bcrypt hashing for passwords) to protect user credentials and data integrity.
